Answers before you inquire
How far in advance should we book?
Popular wedding dates often book 12-18 months ahead. Portrait sessions are typically booked 1-3 months ahead.
Do you travel?
Yes, across Iowa, nationwide, and abroad. Travel costs are discussed upfront with no surprises.
How many images will we receive?
Full-day wedding galleries typically land around 700 to 1,200 thoughtfully curated images, depending on coverage hours and the pace of your day. There is no arbitrary cut-off - every image delivered is one I'd be proud to put my name on.
How quickly will we get our gallery?
Turnaround is one of the first things couples ask about. Share your date when you inquire and I'll confirm the current delivery timeline for your season, including sneak-peek timing.
Is a second photographer always included?
Collection One includes a second photographer. On Collection Two, you choose between an engagement session or a second photographer - not both. Collection Three is lead-photographer coverage.
Do you offer sneak peeks?
Yes - most couples receive a small set of favorite images to share while the full gallery is edited. Exact timing depends on the season and your collection; I'll confirm it when we book.
What if you're sick or injured on our wedding day?
Your day is protected in writing. I'll walk through associate photographer coverage and contingency details in our contract conversation before you book.
Do you carry backup gear and insurance?
Yes - redundant camera bodies and lenses are standard on every wedding, and professional coverage is in place. Ask for current policy details when we talk dates.
How long does the online gallery stay up?
Hosted galleries stay online for 12 months on Collections One and Two, and 6 months on Collection Three. High-resolution files and print rights are yours to download and keep - that is the archival copy, not the online gallery.
What's included to book, and are payment plans available?
A signed contract and retainer reserve your date, plus a Welcome Guide and planning resources. Payment schedules and retainer amounts are confirmed in your contract - ask about installment options when you inquire.
